    A brief Application of AM5SE series microcomputer protection devices in the power distribution project of Linyi Olympic Sports Center

    Abstract: At present, microcomputer protection devices are widely used in power systems. Such devices can effectively monitor the operating status of the power system and record the location and nature of power system faults in real time, thereby providing effective reference information for rapid fault handling. The AM5SE series microcomputer protection device introduced in this article can provide corresponding protection functions for different protection objects of the Linyi Olympic Sports Center power distribution project. It can greatly improve the reliability and safety of substation operation, improve the quality of power supply, and is conducive to the realization of comprehensive automation of the substation. No one or few people are on duty.

    1 Overview


    Linyi Olympic Sports Center is located at the intersection of Xi'an Road and Xiaohe Road, Beicheng New District, Lanshan District, Linyi City, Shandong Province. It is a comprehensive large-scale Olympic park built in accordance with the requirements of the scale of a city with a population of more than 2 million, integrating sports and fitness, culture and entertainment, emergency evacuation and other functions. Taking Liuqing River as the boundary, it is divided into east and west districts. It covers a total area of 1,218 acres and has a total construction area of 501,000 square meters. Among them, 60,000 large Class A stadiums occupy an area of 120,000 square meters; 12,000 extra-large Class A stadiums occupy an area of 89,000 square meters; 1,500 medium-sized Class A swimming pools occupy an area of 47,000 square meters; and the National Fitness Center occupies an area of 89,000 square meters. Square meters, Xizhi Cultural Center covers an area of 40,000 square meters and is equipped with Linyi Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum, art museum, art gallery, library, cultural bookstore and comprehensive exhibition hall. In addition, conditions for the construction of 12,500 national standard disaster relief tents and supporting facilities have been reserved.


    This project is located northeast of the intersection of Xiaohe Road and Taiyuan Road in Beicheng New District, Linyi City. It mainly includes: 3 10kV high-voltage switch stations, 14 transformer and distribution rooms, power supply equipment and related supporting equipment and facilities. Among them, the three high-voltage switch stations are all 10kV dual power supply systems. The power supply comes from the self-checking 110kV substation outlet interval. The 10kV high voltage operates in parallel and is a mutual backup power supply method. The overall high-voltage incoming and outgoing lines of the project adopt the bottom-in and bottom-out method, and the busbars need to be covered with heat shrinkable sleeves. Each high-voltage cabinet must be equipped with a moisture-proof electric heater, take measures against electric shock, and have "five prevention functions." The protection devices are distributed on the switch cabinet, and the switch cabinet is controlled locally on site.


    2. Product demand


    This time, different microcomputer protection devices are configured for different objects in the Linyi Olympic Sports Center power distribution project. The project requires that the incoming line is equipped with quick-break, over-current, and zero-sequence protection functions; the transformer outlet is equipped with quick-break, over-current, zero-sequence, and temperature protection functions; the contact is equipped with over-current, quick-break, and automatic switching protection functions. Therefore, the AM5SE-F line protection device is configured in the incoming cabinet, the AM5SE-T transformer protection device is configured in the transformer cabinet, and the AM5SE-B automatic protection device is configured in the contact cabinet. In addition, the AM5SE-UB PT parallel monitoring device is configured in the PT cabinet to realize the functions of PT parallel monitoring and harmonic elimination. These microcomputer protection devices mainly realize real-time monitoring and protection of the equipment operation of high-voltage cabinets through the following protection functions:
